New to lifestyle
Hi there you all,
We are new to this lifestyle, but have been talking about it for a long time. How did you finally decide to just do it? Any suggestions for a man with a hesitant wife? |

If your wife is hesitant about swinging it sounds like she may be nervous. Everyone is nervous when they first venture out, but as a couple you have to consider all the issues that may arise before jumping into the swing of things. Make sure both of you are secure enough in your relationship, discuss both your wants and desires, and what you both want to hold sacred between you both. For instance, kissing..not all couples kiss others they swing and play with. Same room swap, until you are both comfortable it may be the way to go (or the way you will always prefer).
Most of all.. the key to a swinging couple is making sure the woman is comfortable and happy. It may sound a bit old fashioned but it is true :)
Some say breaking in going to a club is the way, some prefer houseparties and others just meeting offline... my preference is houseparties as there are more people to connect with and a lot less pressure.

Start out slowly. If she is not sure about the lifestyle being pushy might have her hiding from it. Maybe meet with a couple that you talk to a get to know them. Meet for dinner and let her get comfortable with them and see where things go. |

Just take it slow and never do anything you are not comfortable with.
Getting to know the people you play with can help lessen the anxiety.
Discuss absolutely everything, wants, desires, reservations, boundaries....
Everything.
Communication with your partner and prospective playmates, is an essential part of the experience.
Mostly ,
Be patient.
It took Russ and I a year on this site before we found people we clicked with.
The experience was awesome and Convinced us we were on the right track,
We been rollin along ever since.
Not every experience will be what you expected and not all will be good, but all in all, the lifestyle has been great for us and we have met some awesome sexy people.

If your wife is hesitant then I'd suggest just meaning a couple/third for coffee and take it REALLY slowly (ie. don't plan on any craziness that first time). My experience with clubs is really limited, but odds are that even the ones that aren't "on premises" clubs have lots to do besides hooking up, so you two can just sit back and take it in until you're ready. |
